A Leicester City fan, who bears an uncanny resemblance to striker Jamie Vardy, was invited onto the team bus to celebrate the Foxes’ title win last night.

The unnamed supporter made his way onto the club’s coach to rub shoulders with the victorious squad and, indeed, pose for a photo with his famous look-a-like.

However, he wasn’t the only Vardy doppelganger that was noticed.

Ian Haughey was revelling in the mass euphoria outside the King Power Stadium, when more and more Leicester fans, believing him to the prolific goal scorer, began asking for autographs and selfies.

Mr Haughey became so mobbed that he decided to head for his car and home to safety. However, that didn’t deter the Vardy fanatics, and  Haughey would need a police escort to flee the scene.
