Jack Wilshere interested in move to AC Milan after some advice from David Beckham
Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere is reportedly considering a move to AC Milan this summer should Arsene Wenger decide to sell the 25-year-old during the upcoming transfer window.
With just one year left on his £90,000-a-week contract with the Gunners, Wilshere is understood to be considering a move to Milan according to the Mail On Sunday's Alex Miller.
According to Miller, former England captain David Beckham recommended the move to Wilshere after heaping praise on the club following two successful loan spells with the Rossoneri in 2009 and 2010.
Wilshere nearly joined Milan on loan at the end of the August transfer window but instead opted for Eddie Howe's Bournemouth, where he's played 23 games this season, a significant improvement on his previous two seasons with Arsenal where he played five games in total.
Wilshere is said to have taken note of Joe Hart's successful loan spell in the Serie A with Torino, however, Watford, Crystal Palace, Roma and Benfica are all also reportedly interested in the player.
