Injury to Paul Pogba mars Man United's Europa League progression
Man United 1 Rostov 0 (Man United 2-1 Rostov)
Man United advanced to the Europa League last eight tonight after a 1-0 win over Rostov at Old Trafford, but Jose Mourinho will be worried after Paul Pogba left the pitch with an injury early in the second half.
The Red Devils dominated throughout, missing a number of chances to take the lead before Juan Mata poked home 20 minutes from time. However, United will be concerned with the health of their world record signing, after the midfielder limped off after 48 minutes.
Pogba walked straight down the tunnel with what is reportedly a hamstring problem.
Man United went close on multiple occasions in the first half, with Zlatan Ibrahimovic rattling the post with a powerful drive from inside the box. However, it wasn't until Mata got on the end of a flick from the striker that Mourinho could finally relax, with his side easing into the quarter-finals after a comfortable night - Pogba injury aside - at Old Trafford.
