Here is how the players rated in Liverpool's rout of Stoke City
Liverpool warmed up for their mouthwatering clash against top-four rivals Manchester City later this week with a confident 4-1 win over Stoke.
Adam Lallana and Roberto Firmino turned things around in the first half after Jon Walters' opener before a Giannelli Imbula own goal and Daniel Sturridge's first in the league this season less than a minute after coming off the bench wrapped things up.
They moved back into second ahead of City, who visit on Saturday, to maintain the six-point gap with leaders Chelsea.
TWEET OF THE MATCH
"Lallana has added a cutting edge to his game under Klopp that has made a delightful footballer, incisive." - Match of the Day presenter Gary Lineker was full of praise for Adam Lallana after the midfielder's goal.
Lallana. The England international has really impressed this season and his performance here was very much in keeping with that. After slotting home Liverpool's first goal and playing his part in the creation of their second, he fully earned the huge round of applause he received from Reds fans when coming off with around 20 minutes to go.
MOMENT OF THE MATCH
Lallana's goal. The Reds put together a nice move for the equaliser as they looked to respond after making a poor start to the contest. Sadio Mane collected an excellent Divock Origi pass and delivered the ball towards Lallana, who reacted sharply with a low shot past Lee Grant after a ricochet off Glen Johnson.
This result extended Stoke boss Mark Hughes' wait to achieve a first Premier League win at Anfield as a manager to 11 games.
