Guardiola representatives hold talks with three Premier League clubs
Pep Guardiola's advisers have had contact with THREE Premier League clubs in recent weeks, as the scramble to secure the services of the Bayern Munich boss intensifies, Independent.ie understands.
Guardiola has hinted that next job will be in the Premier League when his current contract expires next summer, as he prepares for what he see as his final major challenge in club management before he sets his sights on working at international level.
Reports suggesting Guardiola has already agreed a deal to replace Manuel Pellegrini at Manchester City next summer are premature, with Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea also in the mix to snare the former Barcelona boss.
While it seems increasingly unlikely that Guardiola will remain at Bayern Munich once his contract expires next summer, there are some suggestions in Germany that a one-year extension could be signed by the Spaniard.
If Guardiola was to delay his move to England until 2017, he would have the option to replace Arsene Wenger at Arsenal and Louis van Gaal at Man Utd, with both tipped to retire that summer.
City are determined to pounce first after they failed in their bid to lure Guardiola from Bayern last summer, with the race to snare the two-time Champions League winning tactician heating up.
