Eamon Dunphy explains why he expects Arsenal to get the better of Manchester United tomorrow
Eamon Dunphy believes Arsenal will keep their winning home run going when Manchester United visit the Emirates tomorrow evening.
Dunphy told Game On on RTE 2fm that he was impressed by the Gunners in their 2-0 victory over Spurs a fortnight ago and expects a similar display to produce a similar result.
United will be without Phil Jones, Eric Bailly and Marouane Fellaini for Saturday's Premier League clash with Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium, while Nemanja Matic is a doubt.
He thinks the defensive frailties of Jose Mourinho's side can be exploited.
"It could do if Arsenal play as good as they did against Spurs in the north London derby a couple of weeks ago. They were really outstanding," he said.
"Lacazette is injured but they should be able to field a strong team. If they play with the vigour and confidence and the pressing game they played against Spurs, they should beat United.
"United aren't as good as Spurs and they are, at the back, very, very poor. You'd be put to the pin of your collar to name their back four even.
"I think Arsenal have a great chance of beating them if they turn up and that's the question.
"I can see Arsenal scoring goals against United and I find it harder to believe that United will score goals against them. I fancy Arsenal."
