Doyle extends Wolves stay

KEVIN DOYLE has signed a new four-year contract with Wolves, a deal that will keep him at Molineux until the age of 32.

The Wexford native was a transfer target for Arsenal this summer, but said that he didn't expect to move anywhere after announcing a new deal that will bring his weekly earnings over the £30,000 mark.

"I spoke to the gaffer on the first day of pre-season when we talked about this contract and I was keen to get it done," said the Irish international.

"It's been agreed for a while, it was just a case of everything getting sorted."
