Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp will have to plan for next season without young striker Jerome Sinclair after the 19-year-old today officially announced that he will join Watford when his contract expires.

Sinclair made it clear earlier in the season that he had no desire to sign a long-term contract with the Reds and took to Instagram this afternoon to tell fans that he is making the switch to the Hornets on July 1st.

Although opportunities were few and far between for Sinclair at Anfield - he made just five appearances for the club - expectations were high for the forward after he made his debut in the Capital One Cup at just 16.

Sinclair went on to score his first senior goal for the Anfield side in the 2-2 draw with Exeter in the FA Cup earlier this season but just ten days later he announced that he wished to leave Liverpool at the campaign's end.
