Real Madrid are expected to make a new €120 million bid to sign Eden Hazard in the next few days.

Juventus, meanwhile, remain confident they can hire Maurizio Sarri as coach, although it is understood the Italian will first hold talks with Chelsea.

Juve are in no rush and may want to wait until after tomorrow's Champions League final given they hold an interest in Mauricio Pochettino, even though Tottenham believe their manager will stay. Sarri is their most attainable target and the expectation is he will leave after just one year at Stamford Bridge.

Hazard confirmed after Wednesday's 4-1 Europa League final victory over Arsenal, which represented the first trophy Sarri has won as a coach, that "I think it's goodbye" after seven years at Chelsea.

The 28-year-old wanted to leave Chelsea for Madrid last year but was told he would not be sold. However, Chelsea are due to realise the fee they set, believed to be €120m, as Madrid want to complete the deal quickly.

Hazard has told Chelsea he wants to go and will not sign a new contract and therefore would leave for free next summer if they attempt to hold him. (© Daily Telegraph, London)
