Antonio Conte wants his Chelsea team to avenge last season's FA Cup final defeat to Arsenal by going all the way this time around.

Chelsea booked a semi-final date against Southampton with an extra-time victory over Leicester City.

Should they get to the final then Chelsea will face either Jose Mourinho's Manchester United or Tottenham, who were drawn in the other semi-final.

Chelsea missed out on securing a Premier League and FA Cup double last season and Conte wants to secure the trophy that got away.

"This trophy is very important," Conte said.

"Last season it was a pity to lose the final. To celebrate the double with the players (would have been special). This season our target is to try and do our best and reach the final again. When we are able to reach the final, I want to try to change the final result compared to last season."

Conte, however, dismissed any suggestion that Chelsea landed the easy draw and said he and his players will not be taking a second successive final appearance for granted.

"Easy draw? As you know very well, I think when you arrive at this point of the tournament it's very difficult to consider a game easy," he added.

"Don't forget, Manchester City were eliminated against Wigan.

"We must be ready to fight to try to reach the final for the second time in a row. We have to know that Southampton have the same idea as us."
