Carragher vs Keys: Sky Sports employees old and new in furious Twitter exchange Newsdesk Newsdesk

Jamie Carragher's strong criticism of Arsenal's players got a lot of attention on Monday Night Football last night but the man who used to present Sky's flagship show doesn't agree with him.

Speaking after the Gunners' 3-0 loss to Crystal Palace, the Liverpool legend didn't hold back on Arsenal's shortcomings.

“Two years ago, I remember Graeme Souness said Arsenal were a team of son in laws, but what father would want their daughter to bring one of them home, I’m serious,” questioned Carragher, as he questioned the attitude and professionalism of Wenger’s players.

“Bottling it, cowards, pulling out of challenges. What type of man? Would you want your daughter to bring one of them home?

“That brings me back to a performance last season where we said afterward, the Chelsea players have chucked it for Jose Mourinho. It looks like the Arsenal players have chucked it. That’s the way it looks to me.”

Richard Keys took exception to the comments on Twitter, sparking a war of words as the duo traded insults. Keys had a dig at the fact that Liverpool have never won a Premier League title, while Carragher retorted with a pointed reference to the former Sky presenter losing his job at the station.
