Blow for Man City in title race as Sergio Aguero ruled out of key Cardiff clash
Manchester City are without top scorer Sergio Aguero for Wednesday's Premier League clash with Cardiff at the Etihad Stadium.
The striker was substituted with a muscle problem in Saturday's victory at Fulham and will not be risked with an FA Cup semi-final and a Champions League quarter-final in the next week.
Utility man Fabian Delph also remains on the sidelines with a knock that forced him to miss England's recent internationals and goalkeeper Claudio Bravo (Achilles) is a long-term absentee.
Man City currently trail Liverpool by two points in the title race, but the game against Cardiff is a game-in-hand for Pep Guardiola's side, who will go top with a victory.
Provisional squad: Ederson, Muric, Walker, Danilo, Stones, Otamendi, Laporte, Kompany, Zinchenko, Mendy, Gundogan, Fernandinho, De Bruyne, D Silva, B Silva, Foden, Sane, Sterling, Mahrez, Jesus.
