Everton to beat Chelsea 11/5

Bizarrely Chelsea went into this game as favourites despite last week's dispiriting 3-3 draw with Manchester United, a striker who hadn't scored in 18 games and a record of 12 points from the previous 27 available.

In contrast, Everton had beaten Manchester City in their last home game and had the chance to capitalise on the absence of Didier Drogba and John Terry.

Everton's high-tempo game left Chelsea reeling, and even the optimists who took the bet couldn't have imagined it would pay off so comfortably.
