Eric Cantona has returned with another of his brilliantly comical Eurosport videos and this time he is training his attention on Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger.

In a video that offers up sympathy for sacked Leicester boss Claudio Ranieri and references pie-eating former Sutton United keeper Wayne Shaw, it is his comments on Gunners boss Wenger that are the most cutting.

With pressure mounting on Wenger to bring down the curtain on his enduring reign at Arsenal, Cantona has cheekily suggested he knows why the Frenchman does not want to win the Premier League title before he retires.

Referencing sacked Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho, as well as former Manchester City managers Roberto Mancini and Manuel Pellegrini, he offered up this warning following Leicester’s decision to sack Claudio Ranieri last month.

“Mancini, Mourinho, Pellegrini, Ranieri,” bellowed Cantona, in his role as The Commissioner of Football.

“Four of the last five coaches who have won the Premier League have been fired pretty much right after. The fifth one, Alex Ferguson, retired following the title.

“No wonder Arsene Wenger does everything he can not to win it.”
