Poll: Who should take over as the new United manager?

Louis van Gaal is the bookies favourite, but who would you like to see replace David Moyes in the Old Trafford hotseat?

Ryan Giggs will oversee the end of the campaign and after an opening 4-0 under his watch, there have been calls that the Welshman should be given the role on a permanent basis, ably assisted by the Class of ’92.

Real Madrid’s run to the Champions League Final could rule Carlo Ancelotti out of the running, though the Italian is more than familiar with the Premier League after his time at Stamford Bridge.

Atletico Madrid manager Diego Simeone has won many plaudits as the Spanish side look to claim long-awaited silverware both domestically and in Europe, while Laurent Blanc is another possibility, though very much a long-shot.

Pep Guardiola and Jose Mourinho were touted as potential successors to Alex Ferguson last season and appear less likely now to move to Manchester, though it neither could be ruled out completely.

Let us know who you think should be given the job.
