Hamburg's Mladen Petric had a run-in with the law that turned out more sweet than sour.
The team coach was pulled over by traffic police en route to a match last week, and the Croatian was beckoned to the front. But instead of being issued with a ticket, all he got was a request for an autograph from a young female officer.
"All the other players were smiling. I thought they were taking the p***, so I didn't move at first," he said. "She told me she was a big fan of mine."
The club tweeted about the incident and posted a picture of Petric with his No 1 fan.
