Pellegrini dismisses talk of aguero exit
Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini is unmoved by fresh reports linking star striker Sergio Aguero with a move away from the Etihad Stadium.
Aguero, who has been in outstanding form this season, has reportedly been made Real Madrid's top target for next summer. It is not the first time the 25-year-old has been linked with the Bernabeu, nor the first time this season there have been stories suggesting he might leave.
But the Argentina star, who has scored 15 goals in his last 13 appearances, has previously insisted he is happy in Manchester and Pellegrini is not worried about the rumours. Aguero, who moved from Atletico Madrid for £38m in 2011, is contracted to City until summer 2017.
Pellegrini, speaking after yesterday's win over Swansea, said: "I don't know anything about that. I don't think Sergio wants to leave. That is not a problem for us. I don't believe in that."
City are back in Premier League action as they travel to West Brom in midweek.
Pellegrini is hopeful that captain Vincent Kompany will be fit to return after two months out with a thigh injury.
