Zinedine Zidane insists he has not made any "final decision" about his first-choice goalkeeper after recalling Keylor Navas at the expense of Thibaut Courtois for Real Madrid's 2-0 win over Celta Vigo on Saturday.

Goals by Isco and Gareth Bale gave Zidane a winning return to Real but they remain 12 points adrift of La Liga leaders Barcelona.

Juventus' 31-game unbeaten run in Serie A came to an end when they were beaten 2-0 by Genoa.

With Cristiano Ronaldo missing through injury, Juve lost a league match for the first time since defeat to Napoli in April 2018 as goals form substitutes Stefano Sturaro and Goran Pandev sealed the leaders' fate at Stadio Luigi Ferrari.

Interim boss Claudio Ranieri suffered a first defeat since returning to Serie A as Roma were beaten 2-1 at struggling SPAL.

That defeat allowed city rivals Lazio to narrow the gap on fifth-placed Roma to two points after a 4-1 home victory over Parma.

Bayern Munich bounced back from their Champions League exit in emphatic style, with James Rodriguez scoring a hat-trick in their 6-0 thrashing of Mainz.

Mats Hummels and Franck Ribery were among those dropped as coach Niko Kovac made five changes to the side that were beaten by Liverpool to earn a 13th win in their last 14 league games and move back above Borussia Dortmund on goal difference.
