Feyenoord fans sang a stirring rendition of You'll Never Walk Alone in tribute to goalkeeper Brad Jones' son Luca, who passed away six years ago.

Jones lost his six-year-old son to Leukemia on 18 November 2011 following a two year battle with the cancerous disease and the clubs fans sang You'll Never Walk Alone in the 11th minute to commemorate Luca's life.

The former Liverpool goalkeeper moved to Feyenoord last summer following spells with Bradford City and NEC. The Australian international started 32 games for the champions with Feyenoord conceding 25 goals from 34 games, second to only Ajax and PSV Eindhoven.

On the pitch, Damian van Bruggen's late equaliser denied the reigning champions their first league win in five matches and earned VVV Venlo a 1-1 draw at De Kuip.

Feyenoord appeared to be heading for their first league success since early October thanks to Nicolai Jorgensen's 54th-minute effort, but Van Bruggen's effort from outside the penalty area earned his side a point.
