While Shane Long's fitness will be in doubt for the Euro 2016 play-off with Bosnia, the good news is that Robbie Keane is hitting the goal trail for the LA Galaxy.

The MLS side fell to an unexpected 5-2 defeat to Portland Timbers despite Ireland's record goal scorer giving the reigning champions a 1-0 half-time lead courtesy of an exquisite lobbed volley.

Galaxy conceded five goals after the interval, with three coming in a 10-minute period, though Keane grabbed a second with a flicked header to make it 3-2 before the Timbers pulled clear.

The Galaxy would have secured a semi-final spot in the Western Conference semi-finals with a game to spare had they won.
