Robbie Keane was again the LA Galaxy hero as his brace, both coming from headers, sealed a 2-1 victory over FC Dallas last night.

The Republic of Ireland captain made it 13 league goals for the season and helped the Galaxy recover after falling a goal behind in the first-half.

After the break Ireland's record goal scorer was back to doing what he does best.

His first goal was from a Robbie Rogers cross where the Dubliner placed the ball to the right of an out-stretched Dan Kennedy.

His second came just five minutes later, with Keane leading the charge with a swift counter-attack. The former Liverpool and Tottenham striker found Giovani Dos Santos who made a surging run down the right. He then returned the ball to Keane who again finished with aplomb.

Galaxy now top the Western Conference, five points clear of their nearest challengers.
