Shocking scenes in Rome as riot police clash with football fans ahead of Europa League tie
Riot police have clashed with Feyenoord supporters for the second successive day in ugly scenes in the Italian capital.
Roma host the Dutch side in the last-32 Europa League tie and there have already been 33 arrests as fans fought running battles with police which forced the closure of the popular tourist attraction the Spanish Steps in downtown Rome.
More than 6,000 Feyenoord supporters have travelled for the game with many injured as smoke bombs and bottles were thrown at officers.
