Philipp Lahm retires from international football
Germany World Cup winner Philipp Lahm has retired from international football, according to reports.
German newspaper Bild has reported that the 30-year-old, who has played for his country 113 times, has called time on his international career as he wants to bow out at the very top.
"This is the right time," said Lahm to the SID agency. "I decided that the World Cup in Brazil would be my last tournament."
