Man City beat Leicester 4-3 on penalties to advance to the semi-final of the Carabao Cup tonight at the King Power Stadium.

Leicester's two stars, Jamie Vardy and Riyad Mahrez, couldn't convert in the shoot-out, with the striker driving the ball wide before the game was decided when goalkeeper Claudio Bravo denied the Algerian.

Man City looked to be on their way to another win after Bernardo Silva opened the scoring in the first half. The winger collected a pass from Ilkay Gundogan before shooting low to the net for the first goal.

City's lead lasted all the way until the seventh minute of injury time when Danilo conceded a penalty, which was converted by Jamie Vardy to send the game to extra time.

Nobody could win the game in the extra period, before Man City just about survived following the dramatic penalty shootout.
