Juventus seal monstrous €90m purchase of Napoli striker Gonzalo Higuain
Paul Pogba's reported €120m transfer is one indication that this summer's window has gone completely mad but Juventus' reported purchase of Gonzalo Higuain isn't far behind it.
The 28-year-old Argentine has agreed a move to the Italian champions in a deal worth an estimated €90m, according to Sky Italia. Juventus have claimed that the deal isn't being funded by the likely sale of Pogba, but the signing will surely pave the way for the Frenchman to join Manchester United in the near future.
Higuain scored 36 goals in 35 league games last season, having scored 35 in his first two Serie A campaigns combined after joining Napoli from Real Madrid in 2013.
The Argentina international was also a prominent member of the team that reached the 2014 World Cup final, with Higuain missing a good chance early on in the 1-0 defeat to Germany.
