Ansu Fati continued his remarkable start to life at Barcelona with a goal and an assist in their 5-2 win over Valencia.

The 16-year-old made his first start for Barca on Saturday and needed just five minutes to score his third goal of the season.

Five minutes later, he set up Frenkie de Jong to double the lead and, although Kevin Gamerio pulled one back, a goal from Gerard Pique and two from Luis Suarez helped Barca to fifth spot, three points behind leaders Sevilla.

Real Madrid survived a scare at home to Levante, winning 3-2 thanks to goals from Karim Benzema (two) and Casemiro.

In Germany, RB Leipzig remain top of the Bundesliga after a 1-1 draw at home to Bayern Munich. The champions took a third-minute lead thanks to Robert Lewandowski but Emil Fosberg's penalty on half-time levelled the game.

In Italy, Juvenus dropped their first points of the season in a 0-0 draw with Fiorentina which allowed Antonio Conte's Inter Milan to take top spot after victory over Udinese.

Elsewhere, PSG star Neymar returned against Strasbourg after injury and a summer of transfer talk. The Brazilian was booed by the home fans, but silenced the critics with a 90th-minute overhead kick to win the game.
