The Dublin District Schoolboy League (DDSL) needed goal difference to advance to today's SFAI Kennedy Cup quarter-finals after being held to two draws at UL.

Dawson Devoy fired the DDSL ahead against North Tipperary, but the Munster side struck back to earn a draw against the defending champions who missed a penalty after the break. The Dubs also drew 1-1 with Kilkenny last night. That result left North Tipp, DDSL and Kilkenny locked on 5 points each but the DDSL advanced following Monday's 13-0 win over Longford.

Earlier yesterday, the North Dublin Schoolboy League (NDSL) beat Sligo/Leitrim 4-1 in Group 1. David Okpako, Franck Habo, Sean Enright and Ola Lawel netted before beating Athlone 4-0.

Elsewhere at UL, the Limerick District League bowed out of the Cup after they were beaten 1-0 by Kerry, who topped Group 3.

Donegal produced the performance of the day. 3-0 down against Cork they came back to win 4-3, but Limerick Desmond still won the Group.
