Could Kolo Toure look less happy to be a Glasgow Celtic player?

They say a picture is worth a thousand words. Well if that’s the case, the expression on Kolo Toure’s face as he was unveiled as a Glasgow Celtic player was one of complete and utter dejection.

Having been released by Liverpool this summer after a mixed three year spell at Anfield, the Ivorian defender has linked up with his old boss Brendan Rodgers on a one-year deal with the Scottish champions.

With Rangers now back in the top-flight, the domestic game in Scotland promises to be infinitely more competitive and intense, following Celtic’s monopolisation of the league for the last four seasons.

A new challenge is on the horizon for the man who won Premier League titles with Arsenal and Manchester City, but he doesn’t looked particularly excited by that fact.
