Cobh Ramblers are hoping for a home draw after seeing off Ringmahon Rangers at Turners Cross.

"We would get over 2,000 for a quarter-final at St Colman's Park. That would be great - not only for us to make a few bob, but to give us a real chance of making the semi-finals, which would be quite remarkable for our club," said manager Stephen Henderson.

Connor Ellis fired Cobh ahead with a neat finish after nine minutes and then Shane O'Connor, who had a spell at Liverpool as a teenager, scored twice to make it 3-0 before Patrick O'Brien replied.

Rob Lehane added Cobh's fourth with a low drive from the edge of the box after the break.
