Norwich have secured promotion to the Premier League after beating Blackburn 2-1 at Carrow Road.

Norwich kicked off against Blackburn seeking a point that would confirm their place in the Premier League next season.

Victory would lift Daniel Farke's side three points clear of Sheffield United again at the top of the table.

Norwich took the lead after 13 minutes through Marco Stiepermann as the German midfielder fired in a low left-footed shot from 20 yards.

And the Canaries continued their march towards the Premier League when Mario Vrancic hit an even better left-footed strike from 25 yards, which flew into the top corner to double the lead after 21 minutes.

But Lewis Travis hit straight back for Blackburn to reduce the deficit.

Norwich were unable to add any more goals in the second half despite creating a host of chances, but it did not matter as they held on for the win that secures their return to the Premier League.
