AIDEN McGEADY is out of the Carling Nations Cup ties against Scotland and Northern Ireland due to club duties with Spartak Moscow.
His employers won't allow McGeady to travel to Ireland for the friendly matches because of league games in Russia.
Spartak take on rivals Zenit in a crucial encounter on May 29 -- the same day of the meeting with the Scots.
Ireland play Northern Ireland five days previously, but Spartak don't want the 24-year-old to make a lengthy journey across Europe in the build-up to such an important league match.
Giovanni Trapattoni will be fielding an extremely makeshift team against the North.
That game comes just 48 hours after the conclusion of the Premier League season, so he will largely be using his squad members who ply their trade in the Championship.
However, the likes of Shane Long and Kevin Kilbane could be absent if their respective clubs make the final of the play-offs.
