PAT FENLON'S Hibernian face an uphill task to keep their Europa League campaign alive after they were soundly beaten in Sweden last night.

First-half goals from skipper Jiloan Hamad and Magnus Eriksson, just two minutes apart, secured victory for Malmo, who beat Drogheda United in the first qualifying round.

Fenlon said: "It was a hard game for us. They are a decent side. In fitness and sharpness, they are a mile ahead of us.

"But we are still in it. We need to score the first goal in the second leg and get Easter Road rocking. I've seen it before – that can change the mindset of everybody."
