Liverpool's slam dunk!
Liverpool's hoop dreams appear to be coming true already, as their latest business partner LeBron James showed off his true colours during a post-game press conference in America this week.
The Miami Heat basketball star (below right) -- who last month signed a deal to become a minority stakeholder with the club's owners Fenway Sports Group -- squeezed into a figure-hugging Andy Carroll training top, before facing the media after Miami's victory over the Boston Celtic's in the first game of the Eastern Conference semi-finals.
"I am following Liverpool. They won a good game (on Sunday against Newcastle), I know that," he said, when quizzed about his unusual attire. "Hopefully, I can get out there and catch a game, but right now, this is the only game I'm thinking about."
The master of brand awareness wore an adidas-free shirt, making sure not to upset one of his own biggest supporters Nike. Not that the garment alteration would disturb Liverpool, who could value the prime-time exposure in the millions of dollars.
