Liverpool host Tottenham at Anfield on Saturday with the Reds undefeated in nine games against Spurs.

Here, Press Association Sport's Joe Maloney looks back at Spurs' last victory over Liverpool and every meeting since.

Tottenham 2 Liverpool 1, November 2012

Spurs raced into a 2-0 lead in the first 16 minutes with goals as Gareth Bale brilliantly set up Aaron Lennon's opener and scored the second with a free-kick. Bale headed into his own net in the 72nd minute to reduce the advantage but Spurs held on for all three points.

Liverpool came from behind to defeat Spurs in dramatic fashion. Luis Suarez opened the scoring before Jan Vertonghen scored a goal either side of half-time to give Tottenham the lead. Brendan Rodgers' side responded excellently and Stewart Downing equalised in the 66th minute before Steven Gerrard scored an 82nd-minute penalty to complete the comeback.

Ten-man Spurs were left humiliated at White Hart Lane as they lost ground on the top four. Suarez and Jordan Henderson gave Liverpool a 2-0 lead at the break, before Paulinho was dismissed in the 63rd minute. The visitors then ran riot as Jon Flanagan and Raheem Sterling got on the scoresheet either side of Suarez's second of the game.

Liverpool moved to the top of the Premier League as they once again thrashed Spurs. Tim Sherwood's side were chasing the game from the second minute, when Younes Kaboul turned Glen Johnson's cross into his own net. Suarez doubled the home team's advantage in the first half and second-half goals from Philippe Coutinho and Henderson confirmed the points.

Liverpool put another three goals past Spurs without reply to end new manager Mauricio Pochettino's unbeaten start. Sterling opened the scoring inside 10 minutes and Gerrard doubled the Reds' lead from the penalty spot shortly after half-time. Alberto Moreno sealed all three points on the hour mark.

Liverpool closed the gap on Spurs and the top four as they broke through a resilient Pochettino side. Liverpool led through first Lazar Markovic and then Gerrard but were pegged back by goals from Harry Kane and Mousa Dembele. However, Mario Balotelli scored the winner with seven minutes remaining, his first Premier League goal for Liverpool.

Jurgen Klopp's first game as manager of Liverpool was a goalless draw at White Hart Lane which ended Spurs' dreadful run of five consecutive defeats against Liverpool. Divock Origi hit the bar for Liverpool but Reds keeper Simon Mignolet had to make good saves from Clinton Njie and Kane.

Spurs' chase of league leaders Leicester slowed with a draw at Anfield. Hugo Lloris kept them on terms in the first half and after Philippe Coutinho opened the scoring, the visitors hit back through Kane's sixth goal in four games.

A third consecutive draw between the two sides as Danny Rose struck from a narrow angle to cancel out a James Milner penalty, awarded when Erik Lamela fouled Roberto Firmino.

A Daniel Sturridge brace secured Liverpool a place in the EFL Cup quarter-finals, which also extended their undefeated run to 10 games. Vincent Janssen pulled a goal back from the penalty spot but Liverpool held on for the remaining 15 minutes of the game.
