Waterford end the season with their fifth win in seven games

GOALS either side of the interval secured Waterford’s fifth win in their last seven league matches – enough to end the season in sixth place.

Shane Duggan put the home side in front before Jack Keaney equalised.

Blues sub Georgie Poynton regained the lead on the stroke of half-time from the spot before Zack Elbouzedi then rifled into the top corner on 48 minutes and Michael O’Connor nodded in the fourth four minutes later.
