Video - Shocking scenes after Cobh and Drogheda's Airtricity League playoff as rival fans engage in mass brawl Newsdesk Newsdesk

Drogheda's 2-0 win over Cobh Ramblers in the Airtricity League playoff first leg on Saturday night was marred by scenes of violence between supporters afterwards.

Marc Griffin's header and a strike from Gareth McCaffrey gave the visitors a commanding advantage to take home for the second leg, but Drogheda's great performance was overshadowed by the brawling fans.

An eight minute video uploaded to Facebook shows stones being thrown and even a stick being used as a weapon at one stage. A fistfight also breaks out between fans.

The return leg will take place at United Park in Drogheda on Friday night.
