UCD, the bottom side in the Premier Division, are looking for a new manager after the departure of Collie O'Neill, just days after the club's record 10-1 league defeat.

O'Neill has been in charge of the first team since 2015 and he led the side into a Europa League campaign as well as promotion to the Premier Division.

But this season has been a struggle for the students, who lost the spine of their team in mid-season, and now need a new man to oversee the rest of the campaign.

"UCD AFC can tonight confirm that we have parted company with our First Team manager Collie O'Neill with immediate effect," said a statement issued last night.

UCD are next in action at home to St Patrick's Athletic in the FAI Cup next Friday.
