Derry City manager Kenny Shiels is looking towards the summer transfer window to add to his squad after their third match in nine days saw them concede a stoppage-time equaliser.

Chiedozie Ogbene struck at the death to rescue a draw for Limerick and Shiels was left to rue Derry's failure to seal the victory, which looked likely after Aaron Barry's 79th-minute header put them in front.

He said: "We just haven't got enough experience. We don't know how to close a game out.

"We've got to try and get through to the window and then strengthen our squad. We haven't got depth. We have 15 players and two on loan and, with Rory Patterson out injured, it leaves us short-staffed."

"We've drawn five and won one of our last six games, which isn't good enough."

This was the last of Willie Boland's games in temporary charge of Limerick, with the club set to appoint a permanent manager this week, and he has every reason to be satisfied with his efforts.

LIMERICK FC: B Clarke; Kelly, Whitehead, Williams, Robson; O'Conor (Hery 80), Duggan; Mulhall (O'Flynn 80), Lynch, D Clarke; Tosi (Ogbene 63).

DERRY CITY: G Doherty; McDermott, Barry, Jarvis; Curtis, McEneff, Low, Monaghan, Daniels (Timlin 67); McNamee; Boyle (Kennedy 67).
