SHAMROCK ROVERS manager Stephen Bradley has confirmed that Trevor Clarke will join Rotherham United provided he passes a medical.

Independent.ie reported yesterday that the Hoops were on the verge of selling Clarke to the League One side in a deal worth an initial fee in the region of €120,000.

Bradley said this morning that the 21-year-old has travelled to England to undergo a medical.

"Trevor is over doing his medical today so it could done today or tomorrow," said Bradley, confirming that Clarke will not feature in tomorrow's Europa League tie with Apollon Limassol.

"He's been brilliant for us, a great kid and I wish him nothing but success. Hopefully it will all work out for him.

"He definitely has the qualities, it's just a lot else has to fall into place. But I wish him the best and like I said, hopefully the medical goes OK today, and that will be him."
