Dundalk duo Daryl Horgan and Andy Boyle have both been included in the Ireland squad for the World Cup qualifier against Austria in Vienna on November 13.

Horgan has been in scintillating form for Stephen Kenny's men over the course of the season, with Martin O'Neill finally selecting the winger after weeks of speculation as to when the attacker would finally be included.

O'Neill announced a 35-man provisional squad that features five goalkeepers this morning, but supporters will be pleased that Harry Arter has been included after a string of impressive Premier League performances.

One notable absence is Shane Long, who has been ruled out of the game through injury, meaning that the striking options in the squad are Jon Walters, Kevin Doyle, Adam Rooney and David McGoldrick.

Midfielder James McCarthy has been included in the squad, although O'Neill confirmed that he is still an injury doubt for next weekend's encounter.
