North keeps Saints on Euro course
St Patrick's Ath 2 Bray Wanderers 0
St Patrick's Athletic kept their European dream alive as a Danny North brace secured all three points in a dominant display at Richmond Park.
Bray managed the first chance of note, coming close in the fourth minute, but Colm Tresson's scuffed shot was cleared off Gary Rogers' line.
It was a Rogers route-one ball that proved central to the opener, as North struck home on 26 minutes after Ryan Guy had flicked on the goalkeeper's long ball.
North compounded Bray's misery seven minutes later, bagging his seventh goal of the season as he finished Vinny Faherty's lay-off with ease.
Faherty could have made it three with eight minutes remaining, but his header sailed well over Matt Gregg's crossbar.
