Molloy on the double for Derry

BARRY MOLLOY scored twice as Derry began their defence of the trophy with an easy win.

Mark Farren set up Molloy for the first on 36 minutes and Derry scored two more in the last two minutes of the first half.

Patrick McEleney beat three defenders before firing home the second with a rasping drive and Farren added the third.

Molloy headed home a Matt Crossan corner four minutes from time.
