Bohemians need a result from somewhere, as they face Dundalk in Oriel Park tonight while Shamrock Rovers and Shelbourne should capitalise on home advantage.

Dundalk v Bohemians

(Oriel Park, 7.45)

League form: Dundalk WWWLW, Bohs LDLLL.

Odds: Dundalk 4/9, Bohs 13/2, Draw 3/1.

Referee: N Doyle (Dublin).

Team news: Dundalk's Keith Ward (cruciate) and Chris Shields (hip flexor) miss out. Former Gypsy Stephen O'Donnell returns. Aaron Callaghan must do without Stephen Traynor (ankle), while Andy Mulligan is at the World University Games. Ciaran Nangle and Ryan McEvoy (both ankle) are doubts.

Talking point: Eleven games without a win and with the gap down to four points between themselves and Shelbourne, Bohemians need a result from somewhere and the coming weeks could decide Callaghan's side's fate.

Verdict: Home win.

Shamrock Rovers v Derry City

(Tallaght Stadium, 8.0, Setanta)

League form: Shamrock Rovers WWWWD, Derry DWWWL.

Odds: Shamrock Rovers 21/20, Derry 5/2, Draw 9/4.

Referee: P Sutton (Clare).

Team news: Eamon Zayed can make his Hoops debut against his former club. Barry Murphy (ribs) and defender David Elebert (calf) miss out. David McDaid has also been cleared to play for Derry, who have doubts over Rory Patterson, while Patrick McEleney, Barry Molloy, Ruaidhri Higgins, Thomas Crawley and Kevin Deery are out.

Talking point: Can Zayed give the Hoops the killer instinct they have been lacking? The lowest scorers in the top six, Rovers are looking to put pressure on those above, and beating one of them would be a good start.

Verdict: Home win.

Shelbourne v Cork City

(Tolka Park, 8.0)

League form: Shels LLWLD, Cork DLWLW.

Odds: Shels 3/1, Cork 10/11, Draw 9/4.

Referee: D Tomney (Dublin).

Team news: Paul Crowley (hip) and Dean Kelly (hamstring) miss out for Shels, who have doubts over Robert Bayly (knee) and Garreth O'Connor (calf). Kevin Murray, Darren Dennehy, Colin Healy, Brian Lenihan and Danny Morrissey are injured for Cork, while Danny Murphy is suspended and there are doubts over Gearoid Morrissey and Danny Furlong.

Talking point: With Cork's injury list mounting and Shels enjoying something of a resurgence under Johnny McDonnell, the odds of 3/1 seem long for the Dubliners, who have a chance to put further pressure on Bohs.

Verdict: Home win.
