Bohemians v St Pat's Ath

Dalymount Park, 7.45

League form: Bohs LDWLW St Pat's DWWWD

Match odds: Bohs 11/8 St Pat's 9/4 Draw 9/4

Referee: D Tomney

Team news: Bohs are without injured keeper Barry Murphy and Mark Rossiter (hamstring recurrence) . Ger O'Brien is suspended but Glenn Cronin returns from a cruciate injury. Saints captain Conor Kenna will resume training on Saturday. James O'Brien (ankle) and Dave Mulcahy (hamstring) are also out.

Talking point: Two sides who seem evenly matched on the basis of their form to date. Punters going to Dalymount will be hoping that they don't cancel each other out like they did in the bore draw between the sides at Richmond Park earlier in the season.

Verdict: Draw

Derry City v Bray Wdrs

Brandywell, 7.45

League form: Derry DLWWW Bray DDWLW

Match odds: Derry 8/15 Bray 6/1 Draw 3/1

Referee: T Connolly

Team news: The Candystripes are without the suspended Shane McEleney and Daniel Lafferty while Kevin Deery (calf), Thomas McBride (ankle) and Ruaidhri Higgins (knee) are injury concerns. Barry Molloy returns after a six-week absence. Bray Wanderers will be without Darren Quigley (arm), Stephen Brennan (thigh) and Gary Shaw (foot).

Talking point: Derry are surprisingly the closest challengers to Shamrock Rovers, and the question now is if they can keep up their momentum. Bray are a well-organised side, so they will present a stern test to Stephen Kenny's talented youngsters.

Verdict: Home win

UCD v Dundalk

UCD Bowl, 7.45

League form: UCD WWLWL Dundalk WDDWW

Match odds: UCD 23/10 Dundalk 13/10 Draw 9/4

Referee: A Buttimer

Team news: UCD captain Michael Leahy (shoulder), David O'Connor, Robbie Benson (hipr) and Mark Langtry (calf) all return. Robbie Creevy (ankle) and Cillian Morrison (ankle) are still out. Dundalk's Jason Byrne (hamstring) will not feature, while Stephen McDonnell (knee) is suspended. Stephen Maher (groin) and Eoghan Osborne (fractured tibia) remain out of action.

Talking point: Sometimes the hangover from a cup final loss can carry over, so it will be interesting to see if Dundalk can react positively to their Setanta Cup setback

Verdict: Away win

Shamrock Rvs v Drogheda

Tallaght Stadium, 8.0

League form: Shamrock Rvs WWDWD Drogheda LLLLL

Match odds: Shamrock Rvs 1/6 Drogheda 37/2 Draw 29/5

Referee: P Sutton

Team news: The Hoops have no injury concerns, but Ken Oman and Pat Sullivan are suspended. Drogheda are without suspended duo Alan McNally and Mark Nolan. Jack Flynn is out for at least two months with ligament damage. Cillian Thompson is also out .

Talking point: Top versus bottom and given the form of the two sides, the Drogs would have to pull off the result of the season to take anything from this one -- but there's precious little to suggest this will be anything but a walk in the park for Rovers.

Verdict: Home win
