Holders Dundalk have been drawn away to Derry City in the pick of the FAI Cup second round ties.

Vinny Perth's team will travel to the Ryan McBride Brandywell Stadium on Friday week for a tie that will be decided on the night.

The last two league meetings between the sides have finished in exciting 2-2 draws, and the Lilywhites will have their work cut out against Declan Devine's much improved Candystripes.

A non-league team is guaranteed to make it to the last eight after Crumlin United were drawn at home to Lucan United.

Shamrock Rovers will get an attempt to exact revenge on the Drogheda United side that knocked them out 12 months ago. Stephen Bradley's charges will have home advantage on this occasion.

UCD and St Patrick's Athletic will meet at Belfield in an all-Premier Division clash.

Last year's runners up Cork City travel to Galway, while Bohemians will welcome the winner of tomorrow's encounter between Longford and Athlone.

Sligo Rovers are at home to First Division side Limerick, and Waterford face a trek to Donegal to take on Inishowen League side Glengad United.
