FORAS launch recruitment drive

Cork City supporters have launched an appeal for funds as they seek to secure the future of the club.

Friends of the Rebel Army Society (FORAS) are asking for people who care about the club to join up as a member. FORAS membership costs less than €5 per week and can go a huge way towards securing the future of the club, who have been left in financial trouble following the withdrawal of Arkaga, who had been investing in the club.

According to a statement from FORAS, "the primary focus of FORAS is to ensure Cork City Football Club will survive the current crisis. To do this, we need financial support from everybody with any interest in the future of senior football in Cork. For less than €5 a week, you can become a member and have a say in the future of Cork City FC."

Membership is at least €240 per year, and/or you can make a donation of any amount. Business membership is €1,000.
