Finn Harps booked a place in next season's Airtricity Premier Division after recording a 2-0 win against Limerick tonight.

Goals from Mark Timlin and Nathan Boyle gave Harps a comfortable 3-0 aggregate win as they surged back into the top flight following a strong second leg performace in Limerick.

A Paddy McCourt penalty gave Finn Harps a precious 1-0 advantage from the first leg, but tonight's game was still tense until the visitors struck in first half injury time.

Mark Timlin's goal gave Ollie Horgan's side a vital buffer and although the home team pushed for an equaliser, Nathan Boyle made sure of Finn Harps' promotion ten minutes from time.
