There's another show in town gaining most of the attention in Donegal this week but Finn Harps can make a play for attention next month if they get through tonight's FAI Cup quarter-final replay with Avondale United.

The Airtricity League First Division side are favourites to progress against the Munster League outfit after Sunday's draw in Cork and success on home turf would tee them up for a high-profile semi-final date that would put them back in the spotlight.

However, manager Ollie Horgan has warned that Avondale United are no soft touch.

"While Avondale aren't a league club, they would compete comfortably in the First Division and accumulate a substantial amount of points," says Horgan.

"They have loads of experience and play good football so we know it will be very difficult."
