Cork City face non-league opposition in FAI Cup

Cork City will face non-league opposition in the third round of the FAI Cup as they bid to retain the trophy they won by beating Dundalk last season.

John Caulfield's double champions were drawn away to Home Farm, who finished ninth in the Leinster Senior League. Dundalk, meanwhile, host Cobh Ramblers while Shamrock Rovers travel to Drogheda.

There was also an interesting tie involving another Leinster Senior League side, Inchicore Athletic, who were handed a dream clash against neighbours St Patrick's Amthletic.
