Bray Wanderers have parted company with their U-19s manager Marc kenny, brother of first team manager Harry.

"We confirm that Marc Kenny is no longer Bray Wanderers U-19s manager. We wish him the best of luck in the future with whatever he does," said club secretary Martin O'Connor.

Kenny was not present on Sunday as the U-19s fell to a 3-1 defeat to Cabinteely and his departure was confirmed last night .

Kenny had previously been in charge of Shamrock Rovers U-19s in 2016. Current assistant manager Jason McGuinness is expected to step in for Bray Wanderers' remaining two fixtures.

The club are scheduled to appear in front of the Disciplinary Control Unit today over the fielding of an ineligible player. Striker Shane Heffernan lined out for the Seagulls on August 12 as Bray's U-19s romped to a 4-0 success over Cork City despite being under suspension.

The likely outcome is a fine for the club plus the deduction of the three points earned against Cork City.
